I joined UNIVA Japan as it has a flat structure and provides an open and friendly environment.
UNIVA Japan is a people-oriented company. To maximize employee potential, various staff development programme and study groups are held regularly in the company.
Also, we are engaged in different job duties and have the flexibility to try anything we want at work. It is a good chance to develop new skills and advance our career.
I am responsible for the overall recruitment process including choosing the appropriate recruitment channel, scheduling interviews, managing candidate’s database etc.
Our company focuses on both recruitment and internal staff development. Recently, I am forming the team to handle Graduate Programme recruitment and discovering ways to improve the work environment for internal staff development. I enjoy my work every day.
A company is its people. I think any aspect related to employees is very important to the company.
In my job, I make use of with my previous work experience in Japan to train new employees. Not only they start improving Japanese business manner, but I also feel satisfied and motivated when they start developing their own work style and become more confident and independent at the workplace.
I hope to make the company where all staff feel like home. For example, introduction of housing allowance and flexible working hours, organizing activities to invite employees’ kids to the company to experience their parents’ job etc.
My ultimate goal is to help expand the company with number of staff over 100 in 5 years.
